  1. Wow, I never thought of Portugal as a surf spot…and there are so many of them up and down the coast….how cold is the water in the north? wetsuit territory?

    Seven years ago, I spent five nights (I think) in northern Portugal and I made a day in Espinho. Perhaps because it was late April, I didn’t see anyone surfing. But the town had a nice beach.
