Last night skeletons paraded the streets of Mazatlan, Mexico in full regalia…ourselves included. Our amazing neighbors Julie and Luis decked us out with wigs, hats, boas, Beetlejuice pants, and pounds of face-paint…then we entered the Dia de Los Muertos parade. Catrina, the Queen of the Dead, led thousands of people along with dancers, musicians, fire-throwers, and best of all–a beer burro (aka a donkey pulling kegs for all) through the colonial streets. Watch this video to see this uniquely Mexican holiday in action and us decked out with the best of them.

  1. As one of the still-living, I appreciated the celebration!
