Hey Mike! Saw your page on facebook, I’m a friend of Ryan’s from the Poconos. this looks amazing! There’s a hostel in Fiji called Mango Bay. Its owned by an American from LA. amazing food, decent accommodations, very affordable. I stayed there 5 nights while traveling during my stay in New Zealand. I lived in New Zealand for 9 months and traveled pretty much everywhere on the islands. If you need any info or advice… don’t hesistate to contact me! my email is [email protected]. Safe travels!

    Mike & Anne,

I was in Fiji for 8 Days Diving at Wananavu. The Bligh Waters are the best in the world. I suggest you go for a few days. A shuttle can pick up up at the airport in Suva. Ben is the manager of the place and he will remember Sandy Shaw and myself from the Hoboken Dive Shop. Tell the Wananavu Dive Boys, Joe, Jimmy and Essa I said what’s up and to stay out of trouble. Try the Vonu (Local Beer) and Bounty (Local Rum). Also try the Kava, which is a root used many of the Fijian ceremonies. Definetly take a trip to the local village that the resort basically employees and the villagers will take you on a hike to the water fall where all the village children do some crazy stunts cliff jumping.
